Licensing & Commercial Use
This page explains the licensing terms that apply to music you create with AI Music Studio, including how generated tracks may be used in personal and commercial projects.
This page is a sample template provided for clarity while the final, legally reviewed version is prepared.
1. Overview of License Tiers
Free tier: content created on the Free tier is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Exports on this tier are limited to MP3 and may be watermarked or low bitrate.
Paid tiers (Pro and Studio): content created on a paid tier includes a standard commercial license, which allows use in commercial projects, subject to the terms below and to the export rights of your specific plan.
2. What "Commercial Use" Means
Commercial use means using a track in a context intended to generate revenue or business benefit. Examples include monetized video content, advertising, client work, podcast or streaming content that carries advertising, and products or services offered for sale.
3. What Is Permitted
Subject to your plan and these terms, you may:
- Use generated tracks in personal projects and, on a paid tier, in commercial projects.
- Edit, remix and adapt tracks you created within the Service.
- Distribute generated tracks on streaming, video and social platforms, according to your plan's export rights.
- Combine generated tracks with your own original content, such as vocals, video or other audio.
4. What Is Not Permitted
You may not:
- Re-sell or redistribute generated tracks as a standalone asset or sample pack whose primary value is the track itself.
- Use the Service or its output to infringe the rights of others, or to train competing models without permission.
- Misrepresent how output was created or claim exclusive rights to it in a way that is misleading.
- Use content created on the Free tier for commercial purposes.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for your use of the Service and the output you create. In particular:
- You must own or have the rights to any audio you upload.
- You are responsible for complying with the laws and platform rules that apply to you.
- You are responsible for any third-party material you combine with generated tracks.
6. Attribution
Attribution is not required by default. You do not have to credit AI Music Studio when you use tracks created on a paid tier, unless your plan or a specific program states otherwise.
7. Termination of License
Your license applies while your account is in good standing and while you comply with these terms. If your account is terminated for a violation, or if you use content outside the scope permitted for your tier, the license for the affected content may end.
